Cherry Almond Oatmeal

« I came up with this quick and easy recipe in an effort to change my family’s mind about oatmeal. It was a big success, and they frequently request it now. »


  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 3 1/2 cups sweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup dried tart cherries


Prep : 5  m   Cook : 5  m   Ready In : 10  m


  1. Stir together oats, almond milk, and salt in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on High for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes, until oats are soft and most of the liquid has been absorbed. Stir in cherries.
  2. Spoon into bowls and serve while hot.
